Astroturf (or similar) for path

Hi All

I have a horrible sharp stones path running around the back of my garden which I would like to replace

It's in the shade so turfing it is not an option and it'd be a pain to cut it in any case

I am not overly keen on bark and was thinking of putting a synthetic grass path down

Has anyone any other thoughts and can anyone point me in the direction of where I'd source synthetic turf and how to lay it??
