Hi. I put astroturf down in my garden last year..diy job. Garden has a slight slope. I put down a hardcore base then a 30mm layer of sharp sand. Really happy with the garden until recently...we have 2 labs which the new grass has been great with. Now the weather is hot the kids have had the paddling pool out and all we can smell is urine!!! I soaked the whole garden with a astroturf cleaner...still very smelly! Any ideas?
