The term sending in the troops is not exactly the correct term to use, they are not being sent in to fight, be about as useless as the UN troops, more observers and to give a presence. No real dramas, peace keeping duties only.

Peace keeping is far better than fighting on the ground don't you think?

But bullying countries need to be stood up to otherwise the price will turn out to be far higher...

Let's hope that European countries similarly stand up to the orange rapist if he attempts his invasion of Greenland!

Well I agree that peace is better than war, unfortunately Trump is the big bully that nobody will want to take on, it is a very difficult position to be in with having to choose to defend against an ally. I don't think this has ever happened before but there is a wider reach to all of this. It opens the door for Russia to take the rest of Ukraine which they can do, it opens up for China too. A dangerous situation is unfolding.
