I am considering renewing my fencing and I am wanting to go for a higher 6 foot fence than the 4ft fence that is there at present.
My question is how i can attach the new fence to the existing fence post which joins with my neighbours fence. I don't really want to have to replace this post. I was thinking i could perhaps attach a mental u-channel to the post t extend the height by an extra couple of foot and for the new higher panel to slot into.
I wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas as to how best deal with this issue without installing a new post. Do you think a post extender might work better, and if so, any suggestions on the best ones to get?
