Hi all, installed my central heating a couple of years ago and fitted two auto air vents, one to hot water system and one to CH system. Never had much joy with them. They work well but intermittantly leak (alot), even after cleaning. Is there some sort of manual vent i could install and where do you recommend installing them on the system. I would like to fit them close to the boiler for ease of access. Any help would be great
Thanks
JIM :)

An air vent needs to be on the high points to take the air off. Unless you use something like the spiro air separator.

AAV's only leak when there is dirt in the system. Make sure the system is clean, and the problem is solved.
