Automatic oil check.

Hi all, have a Vauxhall Omega Elite 1999 V6 with auto gearbox, I need to check oil level, can you please tell the procedure for this, thanks for your time

General check procedure for automatic transmission.
Run engine in park and check oil level in transmission, unless it says otherwise on the dip stick.
Top up if required with Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)

Some people (I) like to change the fluid and filter occasionally. Whether it should be done at 100,000 miles, or ten years, or 60,000 seems to be a matter of opinion.

If you have been towing caravans or otherwise giving it a hard life, it may get overheated and changing sooner.

I'm guessing it has a dipstick for the auto box?

Modern autos don't.
