Hi,

Over the past few months I have had the auxiliary tamper cause a full alarm twice.

The first occasion was when the alarm was armed and the tamper fault remained flashing on the keypad for weeks. The tamper fault then disappeared by itself recently and then yesterday a spontaneous full alarm when not armed occurred, again caused by an auxiliary tamper which is still flashing on the keypad.

The aux/fault connections in the panel are connected to the fault relay connections in an Odyssey X-B box.

System - Elite 24 v5.02.01

Any help to resolve this nuisance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

How is the bell wired up?

Check that the system is setup correctly and the bell box is set up and fixed to the wall properly.

If the answer is yes you have a fault on the bell box, this could be a cable fault or an actual bell fault and would need investigation.
