Avoiding Joints in Render

Can anybody suggest the best way to avoid getting joints in a sand cement render finish when rendering a large expanse too big to do in one go.

So if you have to finish one evening mid wall is it possible to pick up the next day and hide the joint?

this is a job for pros only, usually a three man effort using 2&1method(two guys on the trowel, one mixing and loading).

So I assume it's impossible to hide a joint if left overnight?

You could always paint the render!! (After all plain sand and cement finish doesn't look very aesthetic!!)
