The large window in our bathroom "hangs over" the shower tray, see photo below.
We've taken out that shower tray (and all the tiles) and want to replace it with an 800x800mm tray, see plan below. We hate shower curtains so want to have a glass cubicle but the window is a problem because we can't have full-height fittings to that wall (window hinge is on the right). We don't want to reduce the window width because of the expense.
So we thought a bifold door hinged on the end of a fixed glass panel or glass brick wall might be possible, with a stop on the wall beneath the window to prevent water leaking out. I've had negative responses from local shower design companies because of the weight of the bifold door - glass panels or glass brick walls aren't strong enough.
Any ideas? Many thanks!
