hello my problem is that I have got 4 doors in my home that have a width of 725mm I have looked in diy stores and all I can find close to this size is 762mm. the doors I’m after need to be with glass in door so I just wondered what is maximum that can be trimmed of a door or is there a simpler option. I did manage to find a door that was 726mm which would be ideal but it cost £148 which is way too expensive as I would need 4 of them.

The reason I need doors with glass is because the hall way is so dark due to there being no windows to allow in light.

I will be great full if someone could come up with a simple solution with minimum cost thank you.

You’re doors are not an awkward size, they are standard metric doors http://www.doorwarehouse.co.uk/questions-sizeconverter.php as opposed to imperial. Once you get your head around that your search for cheaper doors should be easier although imperial doors suppliers are more common. You haven’t mentioned what kind of glazed doors you require so the price you quoted can’t really be judged.

thank you for your reply and link helped and cleared few things up, but would you know of the best place to look for some reasonably priced doors in this size. thank you
