Aztech MR2800 modem and Win2K

Hi All

I have just installed Win 2K on an old PC of mine (had 98 on before) and now cannot for the life of me get the internal modem to work. I have downloaded the 2k drivers from the net and tried to point the install wizard at them but it doesn't want know. Instead Wins chooses a generic driver which then fails the device when you try and dial.

Any ideas how I can get round this would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have a driver problem, try getting your driver from another source. This should contain the.inf file that you need to point to when installing the hardware or updating the driver.
