b n q kitchen units - spare shelving

Rightly or wrongly I am in the process of purchasing a b n q kitchen, more so out of cheapness. I have been given a 925mm corner unit, luckily from a customer I met in store. Problem is that there is no shelving inside the unit and I was wondering can this shelving be bought as an extra or am I going to have to make something similar.
Problem is THE WIFE, everything is going to have to be spot on so if saving 80 odd quid and having different shelving will probably means I will have to bin it and go and purchase another corner unit.

An open unit of specific colour/design? or internal shelving? (usually white or patterned white particleboard)

sorry, its a white unit its a 925mm x 925mm corner unit. its the shelving that goes in the middle and its white with a pattern on it, thankyou, Kind regards Paul...

First up, contact B&Q and see if they will supply it separately.

Failing that, use white contiboard/MFC, (melamine faced chipboard, same stuff kitchen cabinets are made from) available from any diy shed inc. B&Q. You can get it with an edging strip already on it, just measure and cut to size, leaving the 'hairy' cut edge at the back. Once it's got pots, pans and tins of beans on it you'd never know it wasn't the original.

You'll have to use 2 sections, one butting up to the other to fit in the corner unit.

much appreciated I will do just that.
Some of the unit needs to be cut out at the back anyway to make way for a 6" corner pillar in the wall so it would probably be cheaper this way, its only going to be cleaning products that go under there anyway as its going to be the sink section of units so like you say, who gives a stuff really, all I am concerned with is that the units go in structrally in the best way I possibly can and that all the contours and lines of the kitchen match up as they should be, anything after that will take care of itself.

Using the right length screws, just fix each cabinet to the ones next to it and up into the worktop as well, shouldn't go anywhere.

If you screw through where the hinges go, then when hinges are fixed they will hide the screws

and you're out of luck, me too.. last month the IT kitchen range was 20% off... ..

I got all the units I needed but didn't get the doors yet.. and now they're full price again..

its the base unit mate, and the sink will eventually fit over it so I am not over fussed on the shelf but it would be handy to fit some things on thanks Paul...
