hi. have just bought new washing machine - it appears to only need a cold feed whereas i have plumbing for both hot and cold. i assume i have to cap off the hot pipe somehow (?) - pls can anyone advise as to how i do this and any parts i might need? thanks.

I've never seen one capped off, people just leave the hot turned off. If you want to cap it off you should be able to get something with a 3/4" BSP female end to fit your valve from a plumbers merchant.

i have the same problem! I guess i simply connect new machine to cold feed (blue) and can leave old hot feed (red pipe) alone?

Thanks
