Anyone help here... Can here a constant running of water behind my fire/ back boiler.

I've turned the water off but its still going?? No apparent leaks anywhere.. But what if its going straight under floor boards???

The back boiler sits on a concrete hearth so if it's leaking i am pretty sure you would know about it! - my guess is that the ball valve on your small feed and expansion tank (usually in the loft) has stuck up and needs releasing, the noise is probably air being pumped around the system.

Ball valve in all tank working fine... Checked that. Water is turned of and hot and cold tanks are now drained.. But its still running.. Its like a constantly running tap noise... I go on holiday at 6am and don't want a flooded house

Is the pump running? Turn the electrical supply off to boiler not just the timer the main switch, does the noise go?

Perhaps he could help you with your problem then.

PS. CORGI has been irrelevant for over 5 years.

Further to all your help.. The back boiler had basically rotted and burst.
Its now been removed... New system now needed..

Has the boiler had it or just the heat exchanger ? I have a Bermuda 552 heat exchanger if it is any help.
