I’m in the process of fitting a new downstairs toilet. The new one is back to wall, and the pan connection is quite a way from the soil pipe that goes down into the floor.
I can do it one of two ways. A flexi pan connector that will go from the pan all the way into the clay floor drain, or a straight section of solid pipe and a 90 degree connector into the floor.
The flexi will be easy to fit, the two piece option a bit harder. What is the proper way to do it? Is a flexi a bodge, or is it an acceptable option?
thanks in advance.
