I am fitting a new toilet. The spigot comes out of the pan horizontally and the soil pipe comes out of the floor vertically. The problem I have is that the standard 90 degree pan connector is not long enough horizontally to connect to the soil pipe to position the pan in the position I want it. I do not want to use a flexi as I think that the crap would collect in the gaps and the guy at the plumb centre agreed and said I should use a short straight pan connector into a cut down extension (turning into a piece of 4" diameter pipe) into a standard 90 degree pan/soil pipe conector. Is this OK ?

Thanks Jim. That is what I needed but couldn't find it when I was looking. Do you think that the solution proposed by the Plumb Center is OK as I bought the three parts and will be fitting the pan today ?
