I have taken Homebase Tile adhesive and grout and squeezed it in inside so that it solidifies and acts as a backing for the silicone.
Once dry, I will apply silicone. Both products are anti-mould

Interesting reading ... 1) How did it turn out Android 07? 2) did you apply the adhesive/grout flush with the tiles face leaving a gap underneith? 3) was the bead of silicone quite big? 4) In hindsight would you have used quadrant trim beading Thanks
