Hi,

This bungalow has a bathroom and an en-suite. For several months I have noticed a faint but unpleasant odour in the bathroom, when you first walk in. Then it disappears. I thought it was some old chemical bottles (photography) so I removed them. But the smell is still there.

Then I went into the en-suite and the smell was there as well. I popped my head into the shower cubicle and amazingly there was no smell in there. So the smell is either coming from the wash basins or the loos?

There's no smell coming from the sink unit in the kitchen.

I put bleach down the hand basin in the bathroom (and the overflow) then flushed both with water 5 minutes later. But the smell is still there.

Any ideas please?

Someone suggested 'Foaming Pipe Snake' to get rid of the smell?

Thanks

Check your manholes, bungalows do get blocked quite easily.

Might need to have them jetted.
