Hello, we recently had 4 windows replaced in our lounge bay window. They sent a plasterer to box it all in, and then a carpenter to fit the mdf windowsills. Once these were in we noticed that the window sills were all different heights and also on a slant.
We have also recently noticed that one of the walls is not straight (if you put a spirit level against it vertically there is a big gap at the top.)
We've been told by the window company that the plasterer had a really tough job with the wall as it's an old victorian house.
My question is, should we expect walls to be unevenly plastered and window sills to be at different heights because of the age of the house?
We have yet to pay the final instalment of the bill.TIA.
