We have a balanced flue Euroflame boiler which keeps blowing out every time we have a westerly or northerly wind (handy in the winter, eh?). I'm fed up with people telling me a balanced flue boiler can't blow out, and even though I understand the principle, all I can say is "ours does!". The only thing that's been altered on it was when someone came to service the boiler last year and suggested turning up the pilot light, to which I agreed. Can I try turning it down again? If so, how? Can I furtle about inside the boiler without doing any damage (maybe its the stuff inside)? Any thoughts appreciated.
