Balancing Rads

Call BG back.

Its not uncommon to have to follow up on installs to get bits squared up. The installers generally dont get given the time to do a proper job so shave time off the jobs where they can.

Did the detailed quote/invoice mention re balancing

It wasn't explicitly mentioned, but as the boiler moved from the kitchen to the loft I assumed it needed doing, but the man from BG say no.

The order of the radiators is pretty much reversed, i.e, first on the circuit are nearly last and vice versa.

Will do, would you have expected the new pipeword installed in the loft to be lagged -it wasn't?

Yep, make a snagging list and contact the installations manager who should be named on your paperwork folder. You pay top price, should get top job.

You pay top price, should get top job.

A top job would have been completed on the day, correctly, with no need for any forum advice or phone calls to mangers etc to get stuff done. Especially when its such a simple task.

Not having a go at you personally but unfortunately top price doesn't mean top installers. In fact quite the opposite it appears.

Oh well never mind, am sure your job might of been rushed so they could get to the next customer.

bet those poor installers never stoped.
