Its quite difficult to explain properly but an easy way is to close down all the lockshield valves (the ones without the handle) to 1/4 turn open. Fire up the heating then with 2 pipe thermometers go round each radiator in turn opening the lockshield valves 1/4 turn at a time until there is a temperature difference of 20 deg (condensing boiler) or 11 degrees (non condensing)across the radiator. You will need to go around each radiator a few times as the temperatures will change slightly as you do each radiator. Should take around 3 hrs to complete.
