You need an oil based undercoat forget the word primer, B&Q stock a good range of these, just ask in store and tell them you want an oil based undercoat.
Thank you for the help and advice , I got the undercoat and the guy in the shop asked me why I wanted it, I explained I had been told to put it on becasue of the lines etc and he said I had been told correctly!
It has certainly done the trick I finished Sunday put another 2 coats of the paint ontop once the undercoat had dried from Saturday and it looks perfect now, a bit longer and a bit more expensive than I had planned but I got there in the end Thank you again!!
