Can anyone one help???
when i turn on the cold water taps upstairs or flush the toilet or the washing machine starts downstairs there is a very loud humming and banging from the pipes and the tap in the kitchen starts running. This has been happening for quite a while now and even the neighbours are starting to moan.

PLEASE HELP

Your cold water maybe tank fed, and the ball valve in the tank is worn , which then vibrates very quickly on the surface of the water which transmits through the pipework. New ball valve req...... posting at same time kev
