Hello, I'm after a bit of advice, if anyone can help. When my heating is on its making a terrible racket if I bleed my radiators would this help? I've never done it before.
Its a potterton boiler 6ys old. I've never bled my radiators? A work collegue suggested that I should do this regular? Should I do this when the heating is off or on?? Or maybe I should get me father to do it!! I do try to do my own DIY.
they only need bleeding if they`re cold at the top, and hot a few inches down...that`s air in them , If they`re hot @ top leave alone " terrible racket" is way too vague for any diagnosis
Hi thanks for your reply. The radiators are hot all over. The noise is rather loud, bit scary as it sounds as though something could explode! There is some banging and bubbling noise Im trying to explain best I can.
