Hey guys I was expecting my hot and cold pipes to pertrude and fix in to the back of the bar however it seems the one I bought has a different design which looks like the pipes would be below the tile surface.

Can someone advise how I'm supposed to create a water tight seal between the pipe and what I'm calling a spindle (which is probably wrong). The copper pipe goes in to the smaller end about 10mm

Cheers

Throw those shower fittings in the bin, they're rubbish.

Buy a set of these. Run pipe tails out through the wall, dead level @ 150mm centres, fit the wall covering and then fit the fitting kit, the bar shower then fits directly to the kit.

still can't believe the **** they put in the box, the fixing cost me about £7

This looks better as it maintains the 150mm centres. Just get it level.
