bar shower knackered ?

hi guys - have had a thermostatic bar shower for about 5 years, unknown make, anyway i noticed that the when having a shower the water is warm and not hot like i like it..the body of the bar shower at the hot inlet is very hot ,yiou can just touch it for a few seconds, yet the water is slightly warm to hot, do th ceramic cartridges need replacing or would it be cheaper to buy a new bar shower..?..cheers

You can change the cartridge but you will need to know the manufacturer & model for a replacement.
Google the shower doctor & see if you can recognise the model on their site.
