basement conversion

hi guys. just wondering if anyone has any idea about:
single gas meter in basement at the moment.
im wanting two seperate meters installing outside to feed the house upstairs and the flat im intending to do in the basement.
does anyone have any ideas of cost for this. to the meters only, all internal pipework will be carried out privately

you'll have to get the internal pipework done by a registered gas installer.

aye mate that will be me and my pal hes a gas safe reg eng im currently doing my experience wi him as im trying for my own gas quals and registration thanks for your quick reply mate

surely someone has a roundabout idea my suplier givin me the runaround if it werent for the regs and laws id do it myself im sure i could get an extra meter somewhere whether it would be valid or not i dont care i pay my bills why dont they try help they are more busy getting new customers than they are satisfying existing ones
