Basin Mixer Taps

There are loads of lift up mixer taps around but they all require 0.5 bar or even 1 bar of pressure, I have a gravity fed system and would I be right in saying for 0.5 bar I'd need 15ft head?

Why do these type of mixer taps require more pressure, and is there somewhere where you can buy this style tap which only require 0.2 bar of pressure?

useally cause they are cartridge not the useal tap washers.

you can get them just need to shop around

there are tons on ebay (probably not best place to buy) but generally all 0.5 bar minimum, I'll keep googling thanks.

try ideal standard ceramix alto they are both high/low pressure.
