Hi

Just replace my basin and taps with mono mixer along with m10 flexi

The hot water flow is poor

If i remove the isolation and replace flexi with copper m10, will the flow improve

My old basin worked great with 2 taps

Any help appreciated

Try connecting the flexi to just the isolation valve, and fill into a bucket, if this comes out ok, I’d be looking if the tap is suitable (as per @denso13).

Thanks andy

Can you send a link who sells low pressure taps.

I have tried ebay unable to find.

The only one that may work could be the Victoria taps due to having cartridges.

An old-fashioned tap with a washer is likely to be best.

Individual taps rather than mixers.

The best make I know is Bristan

If you look at the "regency" basin or bath taps you will see the shape

though they might not be to your taste.

I notice they are not as big as similar taps removed from a 20-year old bathroom. I suppose styles have moved on.

Have a look at Screwfix. The product info says whether suitable for high/low pressure or both. Of course it will depend on just how low your pressure is. 0.1bar for every metre of height between tap and cold water storage.

Hi

Current tap is 162611

Planning on purchasing 162614

Says low pressure and gravity
