Not much you can do about it.
Most tap mixers come with them.
Gone are the days taps were solidly connected to copper pipes.
Well, you can make sure they are properly fitted with no twists, kinks or tight radius bends.
If they're under stress and/or there's a leak from the sink/basin above, the ss sheathing corrodes, frays and then the rubber inner blisters and gets punctured by the sharp points of the frayed mesh.
It happened in my house too!
