BAT straps

Hello There, Could anyone please let me know what the 'BAT' acronym stands for -referring to 'as in BAT straps' that are necessary for Building metalwork restraining for eg fastening the wall plate to the brickwork.
and just to insult your intelligence a bit more does the 'm305' refer to the metal type (stainless steel?) Thanks again

BAT manufacture builders metalwork and are part of the Expamet group. It's not an abbreviation, just the company name.
