bath mixer taps

Hello i have a b and q wave bath mixer tap could anyone tell
me how to remove the shower on off plunger many thanks

If you lift the shower plunger up, there's not a couple of spanner flats visible, is there?

no john it is just round

Can you post a picture, Jim? There seems to be quite a few taps called Wave.....
Whats the matter with it? Does the shower drip constantly or something?

not sure how to do a picture but it is the quarter turn handles and the
water is coming out the top at the handle

OK, the quarter turn handles tell us that the taps have ceramic inserts, and that should be fine.....if its the type where the shower hose outlet is below the shower valve, unscrew it and see if there is an allen screw in there.
Sorry mate, but we really need some proper tap i.d on this one!

Thanks very much for your help it is the one with the hose right
underneath that gives me somewhere to start .Thanks again will
