We moved into a new home recently, and I want to to check the integrity of the plumbing to the bath taps. However, I'm unsure as to how to remove this kind of bath panel.

Clearly there's a screw at the bottom of each section; but once the screw is removed, how should the panel be subsequently released with minimum potential for damage?

Thanks in advance.

If you take the screws out and run a stanley knife up the silicone at each end it will probably just fall out.
