Hi,
helping a friend to remove an old shower tray etc and replace with a bath. The hot water is gravity fed, but in the ensuite there is no existing pipework except for 15mm basin and toilet feeds.

The job would be too much to try and run a 22mm HW feed from Hw tank and 22mm feed from CW storage and they plan to Not have mixer tap or shower, but an electric shower retained above bath. Question is, although it will take longer to fill bath, is 15mm feeds acceptable teeing of basin supplies?
is there any need/point to increase run to bath off these to 22mm? and.....
the bath is not really ever going to be used in earnest as a bath but as a shower tray (dont ask!!) but if it was plumbed in 15mm, then should basin taps be used on bath rather than bath or are bath holes larger?

Thanks, Gardnt
