About to install a semi pedestal basin in my bathroom.

Is there an ideal height to aim for when hanging the basin?

I have measured a few with full pedestals and they seem to be @ around 840mm.

This seems a little low to me, although I guess children have to be accomodated for.

Any respones appreciated.
 
If you feel comfortable with your chosen height go for it . Their aint no basin police YET.
