Hi

I wasn't sure which was the best category so here goes...

We want to install a cabinet on our bathroom wall. The wall doesn't seem to be brick behind it so think its a partition with drywall between te bathroom and bedroom.

I'm not sure of the best way to secure it.

In the past I tried using some metal thinks you screw/drive in to the wall then use a screw to secure the shelf to the metal thing - but these didn't last long before the lightweight shelf fell.

Any ideas please guys?

Have a look at hollow wall anchors, example Screwfix 18266. You can get by without the setting tool, but it does make things more simple.
John :)
