Hiya People,

Can anyone advise please on the suggested insulation for a bathrooms ceiling, the ceiling is totally bare just now and the actual roof is a flat felted roof with a 6" joist void. (dormer)

I intend to finish the bathroom ceiling with a skimmed mositure resistant plasterboard and had intended to use knauf frame therm as my insulation, however I had an architect in my house the other day who has said that the frame therm would create a warm ceiling and cause moisture to form in the bathroom ?

Now the ceiling had no insulation in it before and has never been cold, but I thought it prudent of me to install some before replacing the ceiling.

What do I go for though, without affecting the integrity of my house ? I have a roll of foil backed bubble insulation - would this suffice ? or would i be better with a form of kingspan ?

Thanks very much in advance

Ali
