Hi everyone,

Upstairs I have a toilet and bathroom separated by a wall. I have a toilet downstairs so I am happy to keep this one but remove the upstairs one remove the wall and put a separate shower in. A few things I am not sure about though:

1. Can I remove the toilet and use the waste pipe (with a few changes) for a shower?

2. On the bathroom side of the wall there is a radiator. Can I remove this permanently? - I have a combi boiler

Cheers

JK

1. Yes
2 Yes, but won't it be cold ?

Have you thought of this ?
Presumably you will close off the entrance door to the old toilet you are taking out ? If so, why not put the shower in the space where that door used to open (now that you have access to that space from the bathroom having taken the dividing wall down) and leave the toilet where it is ?
Easier, cheaper and better facilities ......
