I need to replace a couple of fans in the house.

The first is a ceiling mounted fan in the guest cloaks needs to be one with a run-on timer
The scond is in the en-suite fan which is a standard fan and is feeble for the duct length of about 4m

I have looked at the Manrose CSF 100T and CQF 100T for the guest cloaks, and the MF100S in-line fan for the en-suite. Are these reasonable quality? I have read good reviews of Manrose but not for the likes of Xpelair.

If the duct length is 4 meters you need something along the lines of the MF100S or more powerful

AND mount the fan close to the vent and higher so any moisture collecting in the vent runs away from the fan

Also make sure you have sufficient air gap under the door so the fan can draw dry air into the en-suite from the house

I'm a big fan of the Airflow Icon fans. I had one in my downstairs loo and a humidistat-controlled one in the bathroom for probably 20 years with no issues whatoever and at least one redecoration for each room

Regards

Tet

PS This was my previous house - I now have MVHR with no extractors
