Bathroom Extractor Fan

S

Shutpa

I want to replace an extractor fan in the bathroom, because although the fan works well, the casing is badly discoloured. The fan, a Greenwood Airvac, is 17 years old. My question is, in terms of dimentions only, are specifications the same, ie can I replace the fan with another make?

Edit: This is the model fitted at the moment:

If you hole size is the same and the and you have all the cable cores needed, you should be okay.
Does the fan run on an over run period?
That link is better.
I doubt it was an over run so you just need two core and earth and an isolation switch/pull cord, which I guess you have already.

Cheers for that! It has just occurred to me, that since the old extractor is working well and is still available, I might just buy the new one and change over the casings.

Sounds like a logical solution, but If I was buying new the whole lot would go in.
