Can someone confirm that the colour wires for my new bathroom extractor fan are correct:
blue: permanent Live
Red: neutral
Yellow: Switched Live
 
It would be more normal for the red and blue to be used the other way around from what you have stated, however if they are sleeved properly then there is no problem with using them that way around
 
woah!! hang on just one second there . . . . didn't this get a reply earlier on?????? I was here at half past 5 and someone had replied saying the same as you adam!
