Right... so..

I've been trying to install a bathroom fan that comes on with the light, not as simple as thought, the light works as normal from the switch but the live twin and earth supply to the fan (from junction box) is not affected by the switch - its constantly on!

Also there's not enough wires from the twin and earth to connect the permanent and switched live wires.

I suspect I need a 3pole switch??
Can anyone point me toward a step by step bathroom fan guide?
