Hi there

I am looking at taking up our bathroom floor which is currently old floor boards and carpet. I want to tile it. Due to the old floorboards I want to lift them up and replace with hardboard to tile on.

Will 18mm hardboard be sufficient? Or do I need to use 22mm hardboard?

Thanks

Dougie

Hi you need to use WBP ply min thickness 18mm screwed down at 300 centres. Then go and get your tile from a reputable tile shop and they will advise what type of flexible adhesive and grout you will need!
