Hi all,

Just trying to canvass some advice on a bathroom I've decided to have a crack at.

I'm not sure if I'm going to use copper or a plastic variant yet although I have read all the pros and cons of each. I've used copper before (soldering, pipe bending, etc.) and have all the stuff, but plastic seems to be tempting too. Plus, I never miss an opportunity to buy some more bits... :)

It's a total blank canvass at the moment, but I've worked out where all the items are going to sit. It's going to have the following:

- Sink
- Shower (cubicle - standalone)
- Bath
- Toilet

The room is fed by a hot and cold supply in 15mm copper and was left capped right under where the sink/vanity unit was going to be located. I thought why not make use of that and put in a manifold of some kind for isolation and pipe each appliance from there. I don't like access panels being left all over the bathroom (I think I'm going to tile, although not decided) yet understand the need to isolate.

Has anyone done it this way before - if so, any products you wish to recommend? Does it sound like a reasonable idea?

Cheers for any help in advance and happy new year (before the Internet stops....)
