Bathroom paint recommendation

Hi,

I've got a small ensuite that I would like to sort out properly.

Current issues are that (I think) Matt went over Silk, and the finish is awful. Secondly, there's been condensation staining around the top, and staining where the previous paint has reacted with the adhesive that was used for the shower panel (that's my theory anyway, roof has been checked for leaks, wall is solid, and if you run your finger over it the texture is completely different)

Anyway, recommendations for undercoat and top coat would be greatly appreciated.

Get a cheap electric sander and bodge on a vacuum.
You can hand sand with 120 grade but think of dust.
Sand walls and ceiling.
Toupret powdered filler and skim over with a scraper or blade. Don't have to be very fussy just catch it all.
Electric sander over but go easy or you will sand all the filler off.
Buy a small tin of acrylic primer undercoat and prime.
Spot fill and sand.
Spot prime.
See what it looks like. Any staining?
If not use a bathroom paint with mould inhibitor.
If you have staining you need a stain block.

Also check the ceiling is well insulated above to keep it warm.
Cold ceiling will get condensation on.
Not much you can do with walls.
Thermal fiber liner will help but probably not at that stage yet.
Run some dehumidifiers for a few hours every evening in winter like we do to control humidity in the house.
If your windows have condensation on in the mornings you have a problem that shouldn't be ignored.
Condensation can be controlled to avoid damage.
