I am using battens to fix plasterboard to external bathroom walls having removed previous tiles and render. This will leave a 1" gap between wall and plasterboard. Should I fill the gap? If so what should I fill it with.
I was reluctant to use Dab and Paste to fix the plasterboard as I have no experience in doing this. I have already screwed plasterboard to the timber uprights of the internal walls.
None of the surfaces will be in direct contact with water. I intend to tile after applying a sealant.
Advice would be much appreciated.
