I have put in a new bathroom and am just finishing it off and have a few questions:

1) I have mitred the 200mm wide 19mm thick plinth to form a 90 degree corner. I would like to use a plinth connector to protect the corner and make it even prettier. The finish is walnut and the bathroom has silver fittings, so a brown or silver effect would go well. I have found the two products as shown in links below, but they are only for a plinth that is 150mm and not 200mm. I have spent some time on google but cant find a similar and suitable product. Do you know of any products?

2) I need to seal between the circular coverplates that go around my bath and shower mixer and where the spout comes out of the wall for the shower. I presume clear silicone is what is called for? Also, if the seal is made between the cover plate and the tiles, is this generally sufficient. What about possible leakage between the coverplate and the mixer body?

Thanks in advance for all help.
