Hello!

Our bathroom pull cord is very dirty and fraying - is it easy to just replace the cord without too much electrical work?

I've tried replacing just the cord before, unless you have the cord which has a little connector... its too fiddly.

Replacing the whole pull cord unit is relatively easy. just make a note of what goes where and duplicate when you replace it!

;)

There is a little white plastic thing near the top of the cable - is this the little connector you were talking about? How does this work?

Simon

the little plastic thing either unscrews top from bottom, or clips in. if you can undo it then you can remove the cord by undoing the knot and fitting a new cord. simple. (ish)

Thanks dabaldie - spot on!

Bought a new cord for 64p from B&Q and it fitted a doddle.

Cheers!
