bathroom renovation

Hello. i am renovating a small bathroom, i would like to change the layout of the suite. (see diagram)

The only problem i can envisage is connecting the toilet waste to the exsisting soil pipe, the new position of the bath will make this awkward.

Would the toilet waste fit around the bath? Would the bath have to be raised and the waste sent under? Also what is the required fall for the waste pipe? Finally would it be easier using a flexi waste pipe?
